A Place In The Sun host Jasmin Harman reveals why she wouldn’t appear on reality show such as I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here
Jasmine Harman has opened up on the future prospects of reality TV show appearances.
The A Place In The Sun host revealed whether she would consider appearing on reality TV shows in the future, saying that while she would ‘never say never’ to a competition like Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing On Ice, she is less sure about the idea of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
‘I don’t know about I’m A Celebrity,’ she said to Express.co.uk, ‘eating dead or alive bugs and shark’s eyeballs and kangaroo’s anus, that wouldn’t happen.’
However, rather than the unsavoury nature of the eating challenge dishes being the source of Jasmin’s discomfort, she revealed that her problem with taking part is due to her vegan lifestyle.
‘Apart from anything else I’m vegan, I wouldn’t be comfortable with that sort of thing,’ she explained.
‘I don’t think I’d be bothered with rats and spiders on me, I think I’d cope with that, I say that, famous last words, I’d probably be screaming my head off.’
Opening up on her family commitments, the mum-of-two added: ‘It would be a long time to be away from my children as well.’

However, the Channel 4 host admitted that she would be much more open to taking part in more active and less survivalist shows, like Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing On Ice.
‘I’m quite scared of Dancing On Ice but never say never,’ she said, adding: ‘I would definitely consider Strictly if that came my way.’
‘It would be a great way of getting fit because you’d be training all day for months,’ she continued.
‘I love dancing and choreography and I’m not that great at it and I do aerobics classes and just about keep up but I would definitely consider anything.’
Well who knows…maybe we’ll see the presenter take to the Strictly dance floor some time soon!
