Ex-Brookside star Jennifer Ellison has announced plans to marry her new boyfriend Robbie Tickle. The 25-year-old actress - who split from 28-year-old fiance Tony Richardson last year amid allegations that he cheated on her - has been dating Robbie for seven months and is so happy she wants to tie the knot. Jennifer told Closer magazine: "Me and Rob haven't been together long, but when you fall madly in love with someone, you don't need to wait five years to take it to the next level. We'll get married next year - but it won't be a big celeb wedding, I only want an intimate affair with family and friends." Jennifer met Robbie, a semi-pro boxer, on a night out with friends and revealed that her new love has helped her to overcome her insecurities. Last year, Jennifer revealed that Tony was violent and abusive during their six-year relationship and had even broken her collarbone. She said: "Rob would never do anything terrible to me - I've got no doubts about that. He has changed me as a person. I was so tense before, as Tony left me feeling insecure. But I'm so happy now." Jennifer also confessed she can't wait to start a family She said: "I'd love children. I want three, but I'm busy with work so it's on hold. Robbie already has seven-year-old twins from a previous relationship. I get on really well with them so that's a good sign."
