Jeremy Clarkson reunites with his Top Gear pals

Sacked Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson was reunited with his old pals James May and Richard Hammond when they filmed scenes for their forthcoming tour – Clarkson, Hammond & May Live.

Following Clarkson’s sacking by the BBC, the tour – formerly known as Top Gear Live – has been renamed but still promises to include the usual mix 'supercars, stunts, explosions and irreverent humour'.

The trio were filming a new scene of The Interceptors, their spoof of 1970s action series such as The Persuaders and Jason King.

Jeremy was seen wearing a pink scarf, a fake moustache and a pair of thick blue glasses, while Hammond wore a brown leather jacket and a thick moustache.

"The three presenters have been working incredibly hard to make sure it's better than ever before,” says Rowland French, creative director of the tour. “I’m certainly looking forward to seeing them back doing what they do best."

A few days ago it was revealed that the three presenters are in talks with ITV to present a Top Gear style show on the BBC’s rival channel.

Originally, insiders at ITV insisted that there were no plans to enter negotiations with Clarkson, but that seems to have changed now that Hammond and May have confirmed they won’t return to Top Gear on BBC2 with Clarkson.

Meanwhile, after failing to retain Hammond and May, bosses at the BBC bosses are planning to relaunch Top Gear with new presenters.
