Kate McCann has described how upset she was by what she calls the Portugese police's disservice to her missing daughter, Madeleine. Her comments were made during a documentary that will screen on ITV1 on Wednesday night. "As soon as I realised the theory that Madeleine was dead... and that we were involved somehow... it just hit home that they haven't been looking for Madeleine," she says. The McCanns became an international news story when their three-year-old daughter went missing from their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz on May 3 last year.
Madeleine, One Year On: Campaign For Change, screens on Wednesday, April 30 at 8pm on ITV1. CLICK below to watch the clip of Kate McCann's interview
