Massive news for fans of hit CBBC show Operation Ouch!
Dr Chris and Dr Xand have a new series and a stage show coming up!
Great news for fans of Operation Ouch! starring Dr Chris and Dr Xand – there’s going to be a new West End show based on the CBBC hit. And also there will be a seventh series of Operation Ouch! coming to our screens next year!
In the CBBC series the identical twins, who grew up in London and trained in medicine at Oxford, are seen following the experiences of children as they’re treated at A & E’s.
The boys – full names Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken – are also often seen doing fun experiments in the show to illustrate what funny things the body is capable of.
So how does this translate onto the stage? Well, the Operation Ouch! Live show is said to be “packed with incredible stunts, crazy experiments and amazing facts”.
Dr Chris – who recently investigated the amount of drugs we’re giving today’s children in a BBC documentary – and Dr Xand will also talk about their favourite moments from the series, which has won two BAFTAs.
Tickets for Operation Ouch! live on stage are now on sale. It’s being staged at London’s Apollo Theatre from Sunday 9 December 2018.
