Myleene to host 10 Years Younger
Myleene Klass is set to take over as the host of the Channel 4 makeover show 10 Years Younger. Musician and model Myleene, 30, will be replacing 37-year-old host Nicky Hambleton-Jones, according to reports in The Sun. Myleene said: "It's a privilege to present such a well-established show that makes a monumental difference to people's lives. I have been filming for the past few days and already there are so many jaw-dropping, heart-warming moments. "Like everyone, I can't wait to see the transformations, as well as picking up tips." The series will return as 10 Years Younger: The Challenge and will place less of an emphasis on cosmetic surgery. The show's current format subjects volunteers to a public survey of how old they look before they are sent off for beauty treatments and often cosmetic enhancement to make them look younger, before another poll is conducted. TV insiders claim that Nicky - a great advocator of going under the knife - has left "to pursue other projects". Myleene can currently be seen on Channel 4 helping stylist Gok Wan in his search for Miss Naked Beauty.
