NCIS star Cote: I want girly time

NCIS star Cote de Pablo has confessed she's desperate to spend time with women after working in the male-dominated show for five years. The Emmy award-winning actress stars in the hit CBS crime show as Ziva David, one of the only female agents in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and admitted that while she loves her male co-stars, it's sometimes hard to only be around men all the time. Cote said: "I am very proud to be with this cast that is predominantly male and to be the only female who is there consistently every day with them. But I cannot tell you what it's done to me! It's been at times really hard to be around men all the time. "I used to always pray that I would be around men all the time because I was such a tomboy. And then it came and now I'm like 'Oh my God! I want to be in a show with just women, all the time, all day!'." She added: "I love these guys, they're terrific and we've worked really hard to make what we have special. "And yes it is empowering, but it's challenging. You get to see this character, but the ins and outs of being in a predominantly male cast is not easy." ::NCIS returns to Fox on Friday January 11 at 9pm.
