Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on the former This Morning trainee guide dog Luna
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have spoken about their love for Luna the labradoodle, whose training as a guide dog was followed on This Morning.
The This Morning presenters chat about their former canine chum on Britain’s Favourite Dogs: Top 100, which is being shown on ITV tonight at 7.30pm - it also features Coronation Street star Simon Gregson chatting about his dogs.
“Luna had a calming effect on the guests," said Phillip about Luna.
Holly added that they were thrilled to be part of Luna’s road to becoming a guide dog.
“Knowing that we’re just part of what’s a very exciting journey for Luna – and the fact that she’s going to make such a difference to somebody’s life - is a wonderful thing,” said Holly.
And Holly revealed that who ever ends up with Luna is in for a real treat.
