Samia Ghadie: I'm still single

Samia Ghadie has insisted she is single following rumours about her friendship with her Dancing On Ice partner Sylvain Longchambon. The Corrie star split from her long-term boyfriend Will Thorp before Christmas and Sylvain recently broke up with his girlfriend, Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, fuelling gossip about a possible romance between Samia and Sylvain. The actress has even been subjected to abuse online. The 30-year-old soap star told The Sun: "I'm single and I'm just having fun skating." Samia, who has a three-year-old daughter, continued: "It's such a dangerous sport anyway that I can't afford to be focusing on anything other than just being a good ice skater and good mum." The actress is set to take to the ice when the next series of Dancing On Ice starts on Sunday.
