Samia: Maria would love Ice outfits

Samia Ghadie has revealed her Corrie alter ego Maria Connor would love her Dancing On Ice wardrobe. The actress is competing in the new series of the ITV1 skating show and is enjoying the sequinned costumes she wears on the ice. Samia said: "Maria would love this. It's great. I'm fully embracing the glitter and the crystals." The mum-of-one revealed her Corrie castmates have been "really supportive" of her stint on the show, especially previous Dancing On Ice contestants Chris Fountain and Andy Whyment. "They keep getting me to show them my little tricks in the green room, all my lifts and stuff," she added. "And Chris and Andy, because they've done the show before, they've been giving me lots of advice and Chris has been lifting me up for everyone to see. In general, everyone has been really supportive. They all think I'm a bit mad as well for doing it!"
