Sheridan Smith has revealed how she gave her mum and dad the Surprise Surprise of their lives, by pretending to be Cilla Black.
The Widower actress is playing the legendary singer and TV star in Cilla, a three-part ITV series about her life.
Sheridan, currently filming the series in Liverpool, told how she played a prank on her parents by turning up at home dressed up as the Surprise Surprise presenter.
Sheridan revealed on Twitter she secretly drove from the set to her mum and dad's home in Lincolnshire.
She said: “I sneaked in and said, ‘surprise surprise!’. They jumped out their skin."
Sheridan has been having a great time filming in Cilla's home town of Liverpool.
She revealed: "The people of Liverpool are the nicest ever! I've decided I want to marry a scouser."
