That's my boy! Eric showing early business skills of his dad!!

Stephen Mulhern has revealed how Simon Cowell’s son Eric magic tricked him out of 50p!

The Britain’s Got More Talent host reckons that Simon’s four-year-old boy is clearly taking after his dad – managing to leave with the money from his magic trick.

Speaking to Lorraine host Christine Lampard, Stephen explained that Simon had asked him to show Eric some magic.

“He’s a mini Simon. Simon calls me Stevie… he said, ‘Stevie, show Eric a magic trick.’

“This is what I showed him. I said to Eric, ‘Look, there’s a 50p coin, watch the coin and it’s gone…’ and then I made it reappear. What did Eric say? He said, ‘Can I keep it? Like father like son!,” laughed Stephen.

Stephen, speaking ahead of the return of Britain’s Got Talent tomorrow, added: “I did give it to him. Afterwards I was like, ‘Why am I giving you 50p’ I think you’re going to be alright!”

Lorraine is shown on ITV, weekdays 8.30am-9.25am.
