Ruth Jones's Stella, the warm-hearted comedy drama set in the South Wales Valleys, is to return for a fourth series on Sky 1 HD.
The new run will pick up the action from series three, currently screening on the channel on Friday nights at 9pm, in which 40-something Welsh single mum Stella, played by co-creator Ruth, is pursuing a new career as a nurse and has a new love interest in the form of Michael (Patrick Baladi).
There will also be a Christmas special, filming of which will commence in March.
Ruth said: “I'm thrilled that Sky viewers love delving into the world of Pontyberry so much that we're being welcomed back for a fourth series. It's stunnin' presh!”
