Year in the New Forest, 7pm, C4

As the series concludes, the ancient woodland is experiencing one of its hottest Summers in decades, which has a profound effect on the area’s ecosystem. A host of rare butterflies burst into life, while deer, cattle and ponies battle with the flies and insects that are central to the New Forest’s wellbeing. Meanwhile, the people living in the forest reflect on the enchanting environment they call home. Rating: ****
