TV Times top picks for tonight

What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Tuesday 20th February

Benidorm Ten Years on Holiday, 9.00pm, ITV

Pull out your sombrero and pour a sangria – Benidorm is celebrating its 10th anniversary this week, and to mark the occasion, ITV is showing this special one-off documentary, which looks back over nine series of all-inclusive fun in the sun. Look out for brilliant guest cameos from the Krankies, Uri Geller, the late Cilla Black and more, as well as long-serving stars such as Sherrie Hewson (Joyce) and Jake Canuso (Mateo) sharing their personal memories. But fans won’t want to miss interviews with former cast members including Steve Pemberton, Siobhan Finneran and Sheila Reid (aka the Garveys). Don’t forget, the new 10th series will be hitting our screens next week – ¡fantástico! Rating: ****

Joe Wicks: Body Coach, 8.00pm, C4

The chirpy fitness guru dishes out more tips as he overhauls the health of folk wanting to boost their body confidence. Tonight, Joe’s subjects include a Hertfordshire couple who run a pub and live on late-night takeaways, and a mum of four in need of a body reboot after years of eating five chocolate bars a day. Rating: ***

Mum, times vary, BBC2

Mum

It’s two years since we met widowed Cathy – played with sublime understatement by Lesley Manville – and as the series returns, we find her marking her 60th with a family trip to a carvery. Obviously, her brother’s sneering partner Pauline thinks it’s beneath her, while Cathy’s awkward but oh-so-smitten pal Michael has bought Cathy enough presents to last the rest of her life… Once again, though, every scene is stolen by Lisa McGrillis as Cathy’s tactless but somehow deeply endearing future daughter-in-law Kelly, who has kindly made Cathy a birthday banner featuring a skull and crossbones ‘to capture a sense of the passing of time’! Rating: *****
