Scandalous affairs, big-figure settlements, fraught relationship battles… the emotionally charged world of divorce is explored in this six-part drama from BAFTA-winning screenwriter Abi Morgan (Suffragette). Nicola Walker plays Hannah Stern, an experienced divorce lawyer who takes a job at a rival firm after her mother, Ruth (Nicola’s Collateral co-star Deborah Findlay), refuses her promotion at the family firm. With an estranged father, sibling rivalries and an old flame in the mix, it seems Hannah’s life is almost as complicated as those of her clients.
