TV presenter Vernon Kay has denied acting inappropriately by contacting a glamour model he ‘sexted’ six years ago.
According to The Sun newspaper, Vernon is said to have sent multiple messages to Rhian Sugden over the last few months with the intent of meeting up with the 29-year-old.
However, he maintained that his wife, Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly, with whom he has two daughters, was aware of their communication.

Posting on his public Facebook page, the 41-year-old said: “Regarding today’s story: I was contacted by Rhian out of the blue back in December regarding the story in 2010 claiming she had information she wanted to pass on.
“I recognise how it may look when messages are pulled out of context but there was never any inappropriate intent to our communication, I was merely trying to find answers to questions that I’ve had since 2010.
“Tess is aware of everything that has been discussed with Rhian,” he added.

The post attracted a flood of comments sending support to the star and his family.
Vernon publicly apologised to his wife on radio in 2010 after it was revealed he had been sending inappropriate messages to five women, including the glamour model.
