Warwick's a longtime fan of Idiot co-star Karl

Warwick Davis has said it was 'fantastic' working with Karl Pilkington on Sky1HD's travelogue An Idiot Abroad.

The Life's Too Short star said he had long admired Karl and loved working with him on the documentary series. He said: "I've been a fan of his since the XFM days. I'm very lucky in my career. I end up working with people who I admire or who I want to work with, and it seems to fall into place.

"Little did I know sitting at home watching the first two series of Idiot Abroad that one day I would get to go on those trips with him."

Warwick, 43, has plenty going on in his career, including the release of his new film Jack The Giant Slayer and the Blu-ray release marking the 35th anniversary of his film Willow.

He is also due to appear in Doctor Who, but refused to give any hints about the episode. "I can't, aside from the fact I'm in it. I play a short character, and there are Cybermen in it... telling you absolutely nothing!"

The Willow 25th Anniversary Blu-ray is available now from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
