Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, 10pm, W
Emma Willis steps away from the glamour of the Big Brother red carpet to become a maternity care assistant in an Essex hospital, cleaning the ward beds, making the new mums a brew and – the best bit – assisting the midwives as they deliver babies. Ever since her first child was born Emma has been in awe of the work midwives do and this six-part series follows her as she finds out just what it takes to work on the front line of midwifery. This week, Emma begins her first exhausting 13-hour shift, as she supports labouring mum Laura, who’s 10 days overdue, and assists with a home birth. But how will she cope with the drama of her first emergency C-section? Rating: ****
Celebrity Call Centre,10pm, C4
Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, comedian Joel Dommett, Made in Chelsea’s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo and slightly scary Queen of Clean Kim Woodburn are among the celebrities acting as agony aunts and uncles, as they encourage the public to phone in with their worries and dilemmas. As part of the channel’s Stand Up to Cancer week, and covering anything from relationship break-ups to extra-marital affairs, the trusty celeb team will be on hand to offer advice and open up about their own experiences and heartache they’ve faced. Other famous faces manning the lines include dance ace Louie Spence and Countdown’s Rachel Riley. Get calling! Rating: ****
