Classic EastEnders, from 12noon, Drama

Cast your minds back to February 1985, when a brand- new soap called EastEnders hit our screens. Saving Poundstretcher, 9pm, C4

Whether you’re after pet food, shaving foam or a new pair of socks, Poundstretcher has probably got some of the best deals on the high street. But the discount store, which has over 400 outlets across the UK, has hit hard times and now owner Aziz Tayub is hiring his former rival, Poundworld founder Chris Edwards, to help him save the flagging business. The two tycoons don’t always see eye to eye and, as this three-part series progresses, there are sure to be some boardroom battles.
