The This Morning host gives his verdict on the best seasonal buys, from food and drink and clever gadgets to garden essentials. As members of the public sample rosé wines, and juicers are put to the test, celebrity tester Chris Kamara checks out electric fans, Stacey Solomon’s sons try out garden toys and Birds of a Feather pals Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson relax in some inflatable hot tubs! The Hotel Inspector, 9pm, Channel 5
Alex Polizzi’s back to help more failing B&Bs and hotels. The series kicks off with The Crown Inn in Wiltshire, and, if you tune in late, you’d be forgiven for thinking this was a repeat of How Clean Is Your House? The rooms are so dirty that Alex refuses to stay – only the third time she’s ever done that. While landlord Alan scrimps on cleaning products, he goes overboard with huge food portions, eating into the very small profit he makes. Can Alex turn things around? Rating: ****
