Game of Thrones The Massive award-winning Sky Atlantic fantasy saga was on majestic form for its sixth series, as the battles became more epic and the deaths more gruesome. But all eyes were on Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who miraculously resurrected, while a vengeful Cersei (Lena Headey) explosively wiped out all her enemies.

The Tunnel 2 After a breathtaking opening series, there were high expectations for the second series of this Sky Atlantic thriller and it certainly delivered. Stephen Dillane and Clemence Poesy once again joined forces as police detectives Karl Roebuck and Elise Wassermann to crack a terrorist unit that forces a plane to crash into the English Channel.

The Rack Pack BBC iPlayer’s first ever comedy drama feature film proved hugely enjoyable as it took us on a journey back to snooker’s glory days. Will Merrick played the young Steve Davis, the man who’d come to dominate the sport for a generation, while Luke Treadaway was suitably compelling as the self-destructive hero, Alex Higgins.

House of Cards

House of Cards Netflix series House of Cards is having a tough job keeping up with the real-life drama of American politics as the Presidential race heats up. However, there’s no doubt that Kevin Spacey has continued to give one of TV’s finest ever acting performances as the devilish Frank Underwood, a man no one should dare to cross.

Say Yes to The Dress UK Could TLC’s UK version be as good as the American favourite? The answer was ‘Yes, yes, yes’ with David Emanuel, Princess Diana’s wedding dress designer, taking centre stage. Just like the States, there was plenty of tears, tantrums and smiles as the brides-to-be fretted over getting the right gown.
