Chart-toppers Ed Sheeran and Rita Ora will feature in a festive Christmas Day edition of Top of the Pops
Prepare for some pop-tastic festivities as Top of the Pops returns to BBC1 with a double helping this Christmas and New Year.
Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and Clean Bandit will be among some of the biggest acts featured in a special Christmas Day show while a star-spangled New Year episode will see appearances and reviews from the biggest chart-toppers of 2017 including James Arthur, Paloma Faith and Craig David.
Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates will be at the helm for both hour-long shows.
Mum of two and former Radio One DJ, Fearne said, "Hosting the Christmas and New Year specials of the biggest pop party on TV alongside my mate Reggie is definitely one of my Christmas highlights and something I look forward to every year."
Meanwhile Reggie added, "Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without Top of the Pops!"
Other acts featured in the festive specials include Dua Lipa and The Script and Bastille.
