The real Amy Pond has been revealed to be pregnant, terrified and held captive by evil Frances Barber, while the fake Amy, who has been hanging around all series, apparently, was melted by the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver. In this concluding part of the first part of the series, the peacenik Time Lord gathers together an army, while we learn River Song's biggest secret and witness a surprising new direction for the Cybermen. While this series has been too dark for some, rather confusing for others, there's no doubting big boss Mr Moffatt knows how to write a classic cliffhanger.
