George Takei has branded I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! organisers shambolic. The 71-year-old Star Trek actor was furious when no one from the ITV reality show was there to meet him at the airport when his long-haul flight arrived in Brisbane, Australia from Los Angeles. George apparently told journalists waiting at the airport: "I've been left wandering the airport for 30 minutes. They assured me there would be someone to meet me." The actor, who has also appeared in Heroes, had to accept help from reporters. Asked if he was looking forward to taking part in the jungle show he said: "Not if it's this shambolic." Meanwhile, presenters Ant and Dec are already tipping George to win the jungle challenge series. The Geordie duo claimed they suggested him as a contestant after meeting him on their American game show Wanna Bet? Ant said: "We recommended him after working with him on our US show. So if he's brilliant it's all down to us. If he's not, forget we ever mentioned it."
