David Van Day has experienced his first Bushtucker Trial in the I'm A Celebrity camp - and hated every minute of it. The ex-Dollar singer broke down in tears as he headed out of camp to tackle Holy Moly, which comprised of crawling through a series of dark tunnels and water slides full of jungle critters to collect stars to win meals for camp. David collected five stars out of a possible 12 in the alloted seven minutes. Emerging from the trial visibly shaken, David said: "It was darker than hell." But, back in camp, David's efforts didn't seem to be enough for glamour girl Nicola who questioned just how hard he had tried. Later, Nicola told Esther: "I don't like him. I just have to look at him and I feel angry." Meanwhile, ex-cop Brian Paddick caused a stir by continuing to shower naked. As Nicola was shocked by the sight of Brian in the altogether, ex Blue singer Simon Webbe said: "I wish I had them b***s." Later, Brian joined Simon and WAG Carly Zucker in the latest Bush Battle, entitled Hog Roast, to win immunity from the first vote off. Brian, who reminded the others that he "used to be a pig", was the first to quit the human spit-roast challenge. Carly was declared the winner after Simon injured himself also pulling out of the task. Viewers have chosen Timmy Mallett to take part in the next Bushtucker Trial, which can be seen on ITV1 on Sunday at 9pm.
