Lisa Snowdon has been voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The model and presenter became the second contestant to be eliminated from the ITV reality show by viewers.

She follows DJ Danny Baker, who was the first camper to get the boot.

Lisa said it felt 'surreal' to be out after 16 days living in the jungle camp, adding: “It was brilliant, and they were such a great group of people.”

She told presenters Ant and Dec that the contestants – including Olympian Sam Quek, former Countdown host Carol Vorderman and actor Larry Lamb – were 'like a family'.

But quizzed about camp-mate Martin Roberts, she said he was 'a strange guy'.

The Homes Under The Hammer host has become a talking point of the series as he has often been at the centre of tension in the jungle camp.

“He has got a childlike innocence… he is not always considerate of other people’s conversations,” said Lisa.

“But it’s part of his charm I guess. He’s just a funny character.”

Lisa’s exploits during her jungle stay included jumping out of a helicopter and bathing in a whirlpool bath filled with fish guts.

She said the less then inviting bath, part of the Rancid Retreat challenge, was the low point of her experience: “It was pretty minging – the smell of it!”

The model, 45, said she would like to see Diversity member Jordan Banjo, comedian Joel Dommett or Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt win, but could not choose between them.

“Everyone’s a winner,” she said.

In the latest instalment of the show, TV stars Martin and Adam Thomas each had to drink a glass full of fish eyeballs.

The unlucky duo also had to hold cockroaches, crickets and other jungle critters in their mouths as part of the stomach-churning Pick ‘N’ Critz bushtucker trial.

Ant and Dec informed the pair that they had to keep each creepy-crawly in their mouths for 30 seconds to secure a star, which represented a meal for the campers.

Emmerdale actor Adam was up first and chose a stick insect, but was gagging and screwing up his face in horror before he had even raised the creature to his lips, amusing Martin who called him 'a drama queen'.

However, Martin looked a little more sober as he tentatively put a handful of cockroaches into his mouth, while Ant chuckled: “This is the quietest he’s been in camp!”

Adam managed to face the severe arachnophobia that had seen him seek hypnotherapy before he headed to Australia for the series, bravely putting a large water spider in his mouth.

“Respect, holy cow, that is the challenge of the day,” Martin enthused, as a grim-faced Adam tackled it.

But their joy was short-lived as Dec pointed out a gumball machine filled with fish eyes, telling the disgusted campers: “Your job is to squeeze the fish eyes in your mouth until they burst and empty the fluid from your mouth into a shot glass.”

Afterwards they were told to take their glasses and sit down.

Adam realised what the presenters had in store and, shocked, asked them: “Are you having a laugh?”

“You’ve got one star left to earn and the way to do that is by downing the contents of your shot glass,” said Ant.

Desperate to secure the maximum amount of meals for their team-mates, both managed to down the horrendous drink as Ant and Dec looked on in amazement.
