I'm A Celebrity viewers were left reeling on Friday night after Joey Essex and Amy Willerton were voted out in a shock double eviction.
The TOWIE star - who had a close relationship with fellow evictee Amy during his time in the jungle - had been the hot favourite to be crowned king of the jungle in Sunday's final.
However he ultimately finished fourth, with Amy limping into fifth place after they finished in the bottom two of the latest public vote.
Despite losing out on the title Joey appeared unphased, describing his time in camp as 'the most amazing experience ever'.
"I didn't expect it to be as hard as it actually is," he admitted.
"My favourite thing in the jungle was probably just learning to cope by yourself around lots of people you've never met before - you feel by yourself but then you make brilliant friends."
Amy, meanwhile, said she had had an 'amazing time' in the I'm A Celebrity camp, adding: "You learn so much and grow. I feel so lucky to have done it."
She also addressed her disagreements with some of the other celebrities - particularly Rebecca Adlington, who confided to the model her insecurities over her looks.
"I think every woman in their life has not felt beautiful and I wanted to give them an insight into what it feels like," Amy explained.
"The most important thing in life is being a good person...I have a career where I use my looks but at the end of the day that's limited and I wanted to show people I have a brain."
Their departure leaves Westlife's Kian Egan, designer David Emanuel and Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter in camp, with one more person set to leave on Saturday night ahead of the final.
