43 complaints - so far - about Brits coverage

Media watchdog Ofcom has received 43 complaints about ITV1's Brit Awards show. Most of the complainants who watched the live broadcast were upset by bad language. Host Sharon Osbourne turned the air blue when comedian Vic Reeves took to the stage. Vic appeared to forget which award he was there to present. Sharon accused him of being drunk, and yelled: "P*** off, you p***** b******." Vic later blamed his confusion on a faulty autocue. Most celebrities wasted no time getting stuck into the free alcohol at London's Earls Court. Comic Alan Carr pronounced himself 'a bit p*****' as he presented an award to Take That. Double winners Arctic Monkeys also seemed well-refreshed and organisers cut them off mid-speech when they began poking fun at the Brits School. The audience were on the edge of their seats when Amy Winehouse took the stage. But after a shaky start she hit her stride and sang not once but twice - performing Valerie with producer Mark Ronson and solo hit Love Is A Losing Game.
