Former Spice Girl Mel B has been confirmed as the new host of Channel 5's Lip Sync Battle.
The UK version of the popular American show will see two celebrities competing against each other, each performing their routine of a hit song – complete with costumes, dance moves and facial expressions.
Mel B, AKA Melanie Brown and Scary Spice, will present the show when it launches on Channel 5 in 2016, although an exact date has yet to be confirmed.

She said: “It’s great to be asked to present this show. Who doesn’t love letting out their inner diva? The US version has me in fits of laughter and I can’t wait to see the UK show contestants give it their all. I’ll be sure to keep everyone in line!”
Her co-presenter and other participating talent will be announced in the next few weeks.
Steve Regan, Channel 5′s commissioning editor of entertainment, said: “When looking for top talent you don’t get much bigger than Mel B.
“Mel has attitude, experience and unmistakable swagger, all vital ingredients for this high-energy show.
“She is the perfect fit and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board. If you thought the US series got gutsy, watch out world – the Brits are coming.”
The American show has featured the likes of Anne Hathaway versus Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson versus Jimmy Fallon.
