Couch Potato Pickings | Flashdance and other great title songs

Flashdance, Jennifer Beals

How can you not love 1980s dance drama Flashdance? It not only stars the lovely Jennifer Beals, but it has one of the best original title songs from the world of movies - Flashdance (What a Feeling). Do you agree?

To remind you of some other great movie tunes, I've drawn up a Top Ten of my personal best below. However, I'm only including a few lyrics from each, so you'll have to work out which films they come from.

Remember, these are not lines from songs that have inspired movies (yes, that's another post), they are songs that share their name with the movies they were written for.

So here you go - name that film:

1. The tide's gonna turn and it's all gonna roll your way.

2. Bein's believin'. I can't have it all, now I'm dancin' for my life.

3. Touch it, stroke it and undress it.

4. Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind.

5. Remember my name.

6. Your eyes, they tell me how much you care.

7. Please, Louise, Pull me.

8. What's it all about.

9. Who's the cat that won't cop out?

10. Lemme tell ya something. Bustin makes me feel good.
