Dale Winton had a great time driving around Florida for the series

Following the untimely death of Dale Winton in April, Channel 5 has revealed when episode two of his series, Dale Winton’s Florida Fly Drive, will air.

The first episode of Dale’s travelogue – which is repeated next Monday at 10pm on 5SELECT – was shown way back in February, and episode two will be on Friday 15th June at 10pm on Channel 5.

This moving episode sees Dale in Miami, taking in Gianni Versace's opulent villa (now a hotel), Little Havana and Palm Beach’s Billionaires Row, location of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago pad.

There’s also a touching moment in the episode when Dale – who died aged 62 in April – talks about death while paying tribute to his late friend, restaurateur Prady Balan.

The hugely popular star, who’s funeral was held in May on what would have been his 63rd birthday, spoke to us in one of his final interviews.

Dale Winton - Why I took a break from television and why it's great to be back!

In the chat, he spoke about his secret love of cars and how he had a great time driving around Florida for the series.

He said: “Yes, that was almost the best bit for me! People are amazed because they expect me to be into musicals but cars are my obsession – I’m such a petrol head. My ideal job would be doing Top Gear!”

Episode two of Dale Winton’s Florida Fly Drive will air at 10pm on Channel 5 on Friday 15thJune.
