Details of hit student comedy Fresh Meat's final series revealed

Jack Whitehall’s on-screen brother pays a visit in the final series of Fresh Meat.

Filming has begun on the last instalment of the Channel 4 university-based sitcom.

And entering the real world 'looms large' for the student housemates, who are about to finish life at university.

According to Channel 4, when the brother of JP (Jack Whitehall) pays an unexpected visit, 'it’s a wake-up call for all the housemates'.

JP is told it’s time to knuckle down if he wants to land a safe job in the family firm.

Vod (Zawe Ashton) has a debt that 'could sink a small Euro state', Oregon (Charlotte Ritchie), now Student Union President, is 'planning her legacy' and Kingsley (Joe Thomas) has 'found himself in an unconventional relationship'.

Howard (Greg McHugh) is headed for a First Class degree, until some unexpected news sends him spiralling. And poor 2nd year Josie (Kimberley Nixon) faces the prospect of being without her friends for next year.

Fresh Meat launched in 2011. Filming begins in Manchester in March and the series will be broadcast on Channel 4 later this year.
