Jonny Labey channels his inner Madonna and becomes Michael Jackson to knock out the judges in ITV's Dance Dance Dance

Forget Albert Square and the drudgery of Walford; former EastEnders actor Jonny Labey could have a career as a professional dancer and also makes a fantastic Madonna!

The actor, who played Paul Coker and quit the soap last year,  and his girlfriend Chrissy Brooke stormed their way to victory on tonight's semi final of ITV's Dance Dance Dance, with Jonny taking on Madonna's routine for one number and scoring a maximum of 30 points for two of their three routines.

As well as performing Madonna's moves for her Britney Spears collaboration, Me Against The Music, Jonny's slick and polished solo routine to  Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal wowed the judges with Ashley Banjo saying, "I've seen hundreds of people try to impersonate that number and hardly anyone I've seen in the world did as well as you've just done."  While fellow judge, Tina Landon,  who appeared in the original video said, "You oozed all over this tonight and I'm going to proudly give you a 10."

Meanwhile Jonny's girlfriend Chrissy Brooke got a standing ovation and moved both judge Tina and Jonny to tears with her incredible and energetic performance of Sia's Chandlier - a music video that's been  been viewed over a billion times  on Youtube.

Ashley said, "I don't have enough superlatives to describe how good that was. You just elevated the level of the competition to a completely new place. I'm in awe of what you just did." While a visibly emotional Tina said, "If I could give you 100 I would but I can only give you a 10."

With Jonny and Chrissie the clear leaders it was left to former Corrie actress Lucy Jo Hudson  and her partner Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton and ex JLS band member JB Gill and his wife Chloe to battle to stay in the competition for next week's final.

JB's solo performance of Ne-Yo's, Beautiful Monster impressed the judges while Chloe loved performing the dance moves of  her close friend Fleur East to the singer's hit single Sax but sadly the husband and wife  were just pipped by half a point by Rohan and  Lucy- Jo who performed a stunning solo to Rhianna's Where Have You Been.

The Gill couple were sad to be leaving the competition but Chloe sang the praises of JB saying, "I'm so proud of my husband, not being a dancer and coming out every week and absolutely killing it."

The final airs next Sunday 12 Feb on ITV
