Before they became known to the world as Monica and co….

Friends legend Courtney Cox has clocked up over a million likes on Instagram for a photo she posted with her co-stars before they were famous in the early 1990s.

The fun snap, which shows the fab six smiling away merrily, was seemingly taken before the first ever episode of the iconic comedy aired.

It shows Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Courtney (Monica), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), David Schwimmer (Ross), Matt Le Blanc (Joey) and Matthew Perry (Chandler).

Courtney captioned the picture: “The one where the six of us went to Vegas and no one knew we were F.R.I.E.N.D.S yet”.

It looks like the photo was taken on a private jet and is likely to have been taken in 1994, shortly before the first ever episode aired on 22 September that year.

Little could the six of them then have known that the comedy, which was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, would go onto to become on the biggest shows of all-time.

As for whether the gang would ever reunite, Courtney last year told People Magazine that she’d love to, but that it was unlikely to ever happen.

“People asks us all the time, ‘Will we ever do a remake?’ That was a story about these group of people that are friends in their 30s who are finding themselves. I don’t know if there’s a way to redo it.”

She added: “I just don't see it happening. Even though I would do anything to be in a room with all those people acting and having a great time. But I don't see it happening.”

But, maybe, just maybe we’ll eventually see the “The one where the Friends got back together…”
