New paparazzi pictures appear to show actor Kit Harington on the set of Game of Thrones in Ireland, raising questions about the true fate of his character Jon Snow.
The internet is buzzing with the news and no wonder: Jon Snow was brutally stabbed to death by his own soldiers in the drama’s series five finale… Or was he?
The photos in the Daily Mail show Kit on set in full costume with sword in hand and Kit himself made a rather telling comment in a recent interview with the Belgian magazine Humo.
“The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract. Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over,” said Kit, who's 28 now.
But Michael Lombardo, president of HBO, who makes the series, insists: “Dead is dead is dead. He be dead … Everything I’ve seen, heard and read, Jon Snow is indeed dead.”
So what is Kit Harrington doing on the set in Ireland?
He could be filming flashback scenes… Or Jon Snow could be resurrected by Red priestess Lady Melisandre.

That’s a theory being touted by some and Carice van Houten, who plays Melisandre, hasn’t dismissed it outright.
“Who knows?” she said, when asked about it recently. “I can’t tell you anything.”
Fans are going to have to wait until next year to find out.
