Idol judge Paula breaks her nose

American Idol judge Paula Abdul has broken her nose after she fell while trying to avoid stepping on her pet dog. The singer has been recovering from the mishap and will appear on the US talent search today and its season finale tomorrow, her publicist David Brokaw said. "She's a little sore, but is doing fine," he said. Paula told US TV show Extra that she tore cartilage in her nose and fractured her toe in the accident at her Los Angeles home. "I took a nasty fall trying not to hurt my dog. I bruised myself on my arm, my chest, my waist all the way down to my hip. All from my little chubby Tulip," she admitted. But, thankfully, it's not all bad news. Brokaw confirmed that the dog, a chihuahua, was not hurt. Catch the American Idol finale this Friday, May 25 at 8.30pm on ITV2.
