Johnny Vegas and Crissy Rock to return to Benidorm

Johnny Vegas (The Oracle), Elsie Kelly and Crissy Rock will all return to the Solana resort in the seventh series of Benidorm, which begins filming later this month, ITV has announced.

Viewers last saw The Oracle in series three as he started dating Chantelle Garvey, Noreen was last seen in series five after another successful holiday in the sunshine and Janey York stopped managing the Solana resort in series four.

Many other favourite holidaymakers will be appearing throughout the new series, along with staff members Joyce Temple Savage (Sherrie Hewson), Les/Lesley (Tim Healy) and Mateo (Jake Canuso).

Benidorm's creator, Derren Litten, will again write all the episodes for the series.

"After another successful run on screen we’re thrilled that a new series is about to start shooting on location in Spain," says ITV’s Director of Entertainment and Comedy, Elaine Bedell.

"We’re equally pleased that some familiar faces from the Solana’s past will be making a welcome return to the sunshine.”
