Jonathan Ross gets his wish on Celeb Apprentice
Jonathan Ross has reportedly signed up to star in The Celebrity Apprentice. The TV host will be working hard for The Apprentice boss Sir Alan Sugar after the tough-talking business mogul asked him to join the boys' team for Comic Relief, according to The Sun. A source told the paper: "Jonathan is the king of the crafty putdown, but can he handle Sir Alan? "Obviously he has a bulging contacts book of star names he can call on for help. But whether or not he will be as good at sweet-talking Sir Alan as he is them remains to be seen." Jonathan, 47, pitched heavily to appear on The Celebrity Apprentice when Sir Alan recently appeared on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross. He will reportedly be joined by Sunday Night Project's Alan Carr, 32, and Johnny Vegas, 36, in the March special edition of the reality show. BBC bosses are apparently pulling out all the stops for charity fundraiser comic relief. Gavin And Stacey's James Corden, 29, and Ruth Jones, 41, have reportedly been signed up to perform a comical reworking of Cinderella. A source apparently said: "Next year could be a tough one for the fundraiser. As rising prices hit people hard, they may be less willing to dig deep for charity. "By getting some big names on board for the telethon night we hope we can convince them to think again."
