Keith Duffy, Anna Williamson nab Splash! honours in second heat

Keith Duffy and Anna Williamson have made it through to the Splash! semi-final in the closely-fought second heat of the current series.

The Boyzone singer - who attracted almost as much attention for his shamrock-print trunks as for his diving - sailed through to the next stage after the combination of judges' and public votes won him the round.

Meanwhile TV presenter Anna was voted through by the judges after taking on 80s pop star Toyah Willcox in the Splash-off.

While Jo Brand voted to put Toyah through, she lost out after fellow judges Leon Taylor and Andy Banks decided they preferred Anna's dive.

TV host Paul Ross and rugby ace Martin Offiah also took part in the show but made a swift exit from the competition after failing to secure enough votes.

Keith and Anna join Michaela Strachan and Diversity's Perri Kiely, who were the winners of the first week's heat.

Afterwards the singer hinted that his choice of outfit had helped him to a place in the semi-final.

"The dive was average but the budgie-smugglers got me through," Keith joked.

Next Saturday's show will feature dives from model Danielle O'Hara, comedian Patrick Monahan, MP Penny Mordaunt, TOWIE star Dan Osbourne and 80s crooner Paul Young.
