With The Voice returning for a fifth series next week, co-hosts Emma Willis and Marvin Humes have revealed what we can expect from the new line-up of coaches on the BBC1 singing competition.
Marvin, who found fame as part of JLS on The X Factor, says we would see the judges get “super competitive”.
Long-standing judge will.i.am is joined again by Ricky Wilson, as well as two new judges – Boy George and Paloma Faith.

Marvin says: “Ricky won last year so I think he’s quietly confident in his coaching abilities.”
“Well Ricky’s super-competitive – always has been, every single year," adds Emma. "But Boy George, he wants it bad, he really does.
“There’s a good little mix of competitiveness between different groups between the four, but they are all super-competitive.
“There have been quite a few acts that have – we’ve been sitting there watching and your jaw just hits the floor, and it’s either really surprising that that sound has come out of that person, or the fact that they are that good, that your whole body just goes: ‘Oh my goodness, something special has really happened.’”
When asked if there is any rivalry between the BBC1 show and ITV's X Factor, the presenters say there isn't any….
Marvin, who initially rose to fame in boy band JLS on The X Factor, said: “There’s no rivalry because The Voice gets more ratings than The X Factor.”
In 2015 The Voice UK’s average audience of 8.5 million was well ahead of X Factor’s 7.8 million, although the show flagged in the ratings during its live show weeks.

Marvin explained: “Obviously I come from The X Factor in JLS so I’m always going to be in support of the show, but The Voice is the most successful music show on TV so it’s all good.”
Co-host Emma Willis added: “So there you go! No rivalry!”
Proving the spirit of “no rivalry”, the presenting duo defended new X Factor host Olly Murs – who faced heavy criticism after prematurely announcing contestant Monica Michael’s elimination on the live results show.

Emma said: “I felt so bad for him because of all the criticism he got for it because he didn’t deserve it.
“It’s live television, it’s a huge show and he’s not a presenter, that’s not his job but he’s doing it and he’s doing it fantastically well and things happen.
“He’s got a million people talking in his ears, he’s got a million people watching him in the audience there’s a million people watching back home and things happen.”
The Voice 2016 returns to BBC1 on 9 January.
