Sitcom fans are looking forward to seeing the movie version of Absolutely Fabulous, but it seems that another hit comedy could hit the big screen.
Talking on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man, Miranda star Sarah Hadland revealed that she is "hopeful" that there will be a film of the sitcom in which she played Stevie, best friend to the clumsy joke shop owner played by Miranda Hart. And she added that there will "be something in the future definitely".

The actress was on the chat show to promote Ballot Monkeys – a C4 sitcom about the four main political parties in the run-up to the General Election on 7 May.
When Alan asked her how she heard that Miranda Hart was ending the BBC1 show after three series, Sarah said: "She told me. She told all the cast. We are very close friends anyway so she told me what was happening and we sort of knew that it was coming to an end.
“I know its really cheesy but we were a really close cast so it was really sad. I see her all the time so I wasn’t that sad because I was like ‘I’ll see you tomorrow when we go for a coffee.’”
Sarah also spoke about how difficult it was to film the last few scenes of the comedy…
