Sally Bercow forced to quit The Jump

Sally Bercow has become the latest casualty of The Jump, being forced to quit the show after breaking two ribs.

The Channel 4 winter sports contest has not even begun yet, but already the celebrity competitor line-up has seen changes thanks to a series of injuries sustained during training.

Sally had a bad fall while skiing which led to the broken bones, according to The Sun. She follows Strictly Come Dancing's Ola Jordan out of the competition, who has had to have surgery for a knee injury.

Other famous faces currently still taking part include Mike Tindall, Heather Mills and Joey Essex.

This is The Jump's second series filming in the winter sports resort of Innsbruck in Austria, and the first series was also plagued by injuries, with Sir Steve Redgrave, Marcus Brigstocke, Darren Gough, Melinda Messenger, Henry Conway and Sam J Jones all falling foul of the show's tough regime.
