Mackenzie Crook has teamed up with Sir Paul McCartney for a guest appearance in the former Beatle's latest music video. Mackenzie, who played Gareth in The Office, stars in the video for Macca's new song Dance Tonight alongside Hollywood beauty Natalie Portman, The Independent revealed. "Paul was a big fan of The Office and a fan of Mackenzie's as well. And he basically approached him to be in it because of that," said Macca's spokesman. Mackenzie shot to fame in The Office and has since starred in the Pirates Of The Carribean films alongside Johnny Depp. He recently finished filming the third instalment of the hit films with another ageing rocker - The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards. Dance Tonight is the opening track from Sir Paul's new album Memory Almost Full which is due to be released next month. The video was directed by legendary French music promo-maker, Michel Gondry.
