Peter Andre set to make mums' dreams come true ahead of Mother's Day

Peter Andre is set to make a group of mums' dreams come true as part of a special show on This Morning in the run-up to Mother's Day.

Peter Andre is set to travel across the country making a group of special mums' dreams come true.

'Mum's Wildest Dreams' will be shown on ITV's This Morning next week in the run-up to Mother's Day. The TV star and dad-of-four will meet a line-up of mothers who gave up their dreams to raise a family.

Speaking about the women he has met, Peter said: "I am delighted to be involved in this because I've got to travel across the country meeting some fantastic mothers who really deserve these treats and experiences that I'll be surprising them with. It’s called 'Mum’s Wildest Dreams' and whilst many women put their own dreams on hold to raise children, I will be helping some mothers finally achieve these dreams! I can't say too much more but it's really heartwarming to see how much these families adore each other and I can't wait for them to be revealed on This Morning in the run up to Mother’s Day."

Peter, whose wife Emily gave birth to his fourth child Theodore James in December last year, admitted that meeting the mothers made him reflect on his own role as a parent. He said: "It’s really quite incredible when you discover just how selfless some of these mums are and it makes you realise that what makes any parent great is - and as I always say - 'putting your children first'. It's evident from this mini series that these mums do make their own priorities second or third and their children are always number one.”

Peter is famously close to his mother Thea Andrea, and he took the opportunity to praise Thea for the sacrifices she made to bring her own brood up. He said: “My mother, for me, has always been incredibly caring and loving. And she sacrificed so much for us. In fact, I remember her telling me that she would often have three of her six children climbing all over her whilst she was working full time as a seamstress... Now that is multi tasking! Nothing was, or is - even now at 80 years old - too much for her when it comes to her kids.”

Peter fronts 'Mum's Wildest Dreams' on This Morning on 20th, 22nd and 24th March from 10:30am on ITV1.
