Lewis Bloor says he’s in no doubt that this series of The Only Way Is Essex will be the ‘most explosive one yet’.
The structured-reality show returns to ITVBe for its 15th series on Sunday night (10pm) with the first of two special episodes filmed in the casts’ favourite holiday hotspot, Marbella.
Giving a teaser of what fans can expect from the Marbella episode, Lewis told whatsontv.co.uk: “Everything’s heightened, there’s a little bit more booze involved, and the romances and the arguments seem to be more intense.
“I know we’ve been out to Marbella a few times but I’ve got absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is going to be the most explosive one yet!”
And it’s safe to say that the drama is all set to continue when the cast return to their hometown. “Things never stay in Marbella,” said co-star Georgia Kousoulou. “They start in Marbella… but they’re brought back to Essex!”
