John Travolta has apparently come up with the perfect person to play his spouse in the Dallas film - his own wife, Kelly Preston. The actor, who is set to play shady oil baron JR Ewing in the £80 million film remake of the 80s glamour soap, is determined that his wife, actress Kelly Preston, should bag the role of Sue Ellen after Jennifer Lopez dropped out, the Daily Express reports. A source told the paper: "John has made it clear that he thinks Kelly would be perfect for the role of Sue Ellen and it's now thought that she will end up with the part. "It would certainly make interesting viewing as their real life marriage obviously couldn't be any more different from that of the feuding JR and his wife." John and Kelly have been married since 1991 and have a son and a daughter. Dallas is due to start filming later this year with Owen Wilson due to star as Bobby. British director Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham) will direct.
