Reality TV star Vicky Pattison has become engaged to her partner John Noble.
The former Geordie Shore star has told how she 'burst into tears' upon being asked for her hand in marriage by her partner of less than a year. But she has also revealed she thought he was going to split up with her before he proposed.
Vicky told OK! magazine: “I was spending a few days at John’s house, which is just outside Newcastle and surrounded by lovely countryside. One morning he suggested we take his dog Roxie out for a walk.
“After a while we stopped for a sit down on a bench overlooking some lovely scenery.
“I was playing with Roxie when she shook her head and got slobber all over my face. When I wiped it away, John was in front of me on one knee.”
She said: “I couldn’t believe it, I burst into tears. I said yes and then I looked at the ring and I was blown away, it was amazing.”
Vicky, 29, said that in the days leading up to the romantic moment, she was convinced he was going to break up with her because they had had a 'difficult few weeks'.
She said they had both been busy and that Mr Noble had told her he had 'too much on' to pay her a visit at her home in Essex.
“It was so out of character for him that I started panicking, thinking he was going to finish things with me,” she said.
“I was crying to all my friends all the time and arguing with him on the phone because I was so sure he didn’t want to be with me any more.”
On the cover of OK! magazine, Vicky is pictured showing off her engagement ring – a 3.6-carat marquise-cut diamond ring – while being cuddled by John.

Pattison and Mr Noble are thought to have been an item since November last year.
Following her stint on Geordie Shore, Vicky won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015 and last year acted as a regular panellist for ITV daytime show Loose Women.
She was one of the co-presenters of I’m A Celebrity’s spin-off show for the most recent series.
