X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh have sparked outrage after calling the Welsh 'talentless'. Simon and Louis were less than impressed when they visited Wales for the latest round of X Factor auditions, according to reports in The Mirror. Simon said: "Talent was in the minority in Wales. There were about two good girls but we saw a lot of people who were really bad." Louis said the Welsh hopefuls were among the worst he'd ever heard adding: "There's no way the winner will come from Wales. There have been a lot of lunatics. "I was looking for Tom Jones - I got Bonnie Tyler. I'm glad we're leaving." Simon and Louis remarks will come as a surprise to many - especially as Welshman Rhydian Roberts soared to final of last year's X Factor, and was narrowly beaten by Leon Jackson. William Lark, the father of I'd Do Anything contestant Sarah, blasted Simon and Louis for their comments. He said: "Think of the stars that have come from Wales, such as Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Charlotte Church. Wales is the land of song."
