Line of Duty series three has begun filming with an all-new, including Mrs Biggs star Daniel Mays, Broadchurch's Will Mellor, Arsher Ali, who was seen most recently in Arthur & George, and Leanne Best (Ripper Street).
Jed Mercurio, writer and creator of Line of Duty, said: "Sgt Danny Waldron (Mays) appears to run a team of crack firearms officers, but hidden tensions simmer beneath the surface. We're all hugely excited that Will Mellor, Arsher Ali and Leanne Best have agreed to play these pivotal roles."
Will plays PC Rod Kennedy, Arsher plays PC Harinderpal ‘Hari’ Bains and Leanne plays WPC Jackie Brickford in the new six-part series of the hit BBC2 show about the murky world of police corruption.
